The
Students Care Services, which form part of the school's
'whole-school' approach to education, acknowledge
differing learning abilities, needs and styles of
students and seek to optimize their learning by creating
a supportive learning environment and by addressing
individual needs in a very positive and inclusive
way.
The above objective is achieved through a variety
of efforts involving students, teachers and parents.
Students identified with differing learning abilities,
apart from working in their classrooms for most of
their regular instructional time, are provided with
supportive services like a teacher-assistant and
specific classroom and evaluation accommodastions.
A value-based guidance curriculum programme is in
place to facilitate students' wholesome development
and their effective adjustment to the school environment
and learning requirements. The individual and group-responsive
counselling services provided to students seek to
help tackle their individual problems.
