Creativity
A substantial number of hours in the timetable, and ample opportunity after school, are dedicated to encouraging children to explore the world of creative arts.
Time spent on music, drama, dance and painting is time well spent. The pleasure in doing and the satisfaction of achievement not only tap a student's creativity and originality, but also encourage concentration, patience, commitment and teamwork.
Regular sessions of drama and the hours of rehearsal help a child understand his / her responses to different situations, rather than necessarily making an actor of him / her. Similarly, painting will help him / her learn to observe different forms and shades of colour, rather than producing a great artist.
Specialist teachers for these subjects, working in the areas designed for their activities, ensure that the pleasures and rewards of creative work complement academic study.

Personality Development
A well-rounded personality is the hallmark of a successful person. Good grooming is the fastidious art of taking care of oneself and of being immaculately neat from head to toe, whereby everything is used with discrimination and taste. Children are made familiar with their assets and drawbacks so that they learn to project their good points and camouflage their drawbacks. The following are the topics children are being taught:

Workshops on Personality and Grooming are periodically held in the School for both the students and the teachers.
Literary/ Culture Society
Shanti Niketan Vidyapeeth has a vibrant and dynamic Literary Society which organizes various literary activities throughout the year. Students are actively encouraged to train in public speaking, debating, declamation, poetry recitation, improvisation and extempore speaking.
The Literary Society proposes to hosts Inter-House Competitions in order to identify creative talent among the students with the aim of preparing them for important Inter-School competitions.
